Asuka's STORY
Asuka, from Tokyo Japan, has been creating artistic jewelry since 2009.
Having always had an interest in expressive art forms, she studied piano and classical ballet from the age of six.
During a trip to Mt. Shasta, California in 2009, her love of art was renewed through an unexpected turn. A tiny, blue light appeared before her and spoke to Asuka, telling her that she might express her artistic abilities through making jewelry and in the process be helping people who would wear her jewelry. Taking this to heart, Asuka began to create a collection of her own designs, then, found herself in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2012. While experiencing that multi-cultural city surrounded by beautiful mountains and capped with endless, clear skies, she was inspired to create a collection of earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Still today, Santa Fe is not only a source of inspiration, but a favorite location to obtain the special stones used in making her artistic jewelry.
